FATHER JOSEPH-HIEN VAN VO

Fr Joseph completed his studies, begun in Vietnam,  at Pius X11  Seminary, and was ordained in November, 1996. He came to Hervey Bay Parish in 2003 as Associate Pastor, and was installed as Parish Priest at an installation ceremony by Bishop Brian Finnigan August 7, 2004.

Fr Joseph enjoys music and art, and brings our Liturgy to life with his colourful flair. 

Fr Joseph has studied Karate. He may be small in stature but he is big in heart!! 

Fr Joseph has  been awarded the  Centenary Medal which  commemorates the centenary of  Federation of Australia.  This is for his work for multiculturalism.
