Liturgy Committee
Liturgy is the participation of the people of God in God’s work with and through His Church. The liturgy is the action of the whole Church by which a spirit-filled community offers with Christ, praise and worship to the Father. The liturgy takes us to the heart of the paschal mystery of Jesus-Communion-Mission. In the Church’s liturgy. God the creator acts to renew us in spirit. The task of the Liturgy Committee is to ensure our liturgies are dynamic meaningful celebrations. We aim to use liturgical words, gestures and symbols in such a powerful and transparent ways that people are drawn into the paschal mystery eager to participate fully, actively and consciously. In other words, the aim is to ensure that we have vibrant, meaningful and inclusive liturgies.Good Parish Liturgy relies on the Ministry of Hospitality, the Music Ministry, Ministry of the Word, Church Environment Ministry and the Eucharistic Ministry.
