• Listen and respond to the hopes, ideas, needs and concerns of parishioners.                    
• Provides opportunities for parishioners to grow in their relationship with God and with each other and to be encouraged in their continuing efforts to be an influence for good in the wider community.                 
• Sets long and short term goals for the Parish in full consultancy with other groups and with parishioners.                  
• Contributes towards making parish decisions that reflect the values of the Gospel and the teachings of the Church.                 
• Assists in the coordination of activities within the Parish.                   
• Provides support for the Pastor

Then PPC meets monthly on the fourth Monday of the month at 7.00pm.  There are two public meetings each year alternating with the Howard and Burrum Heads communities.  Additionally, there is an annual General Meeting in November of each year, which is open to all parishioners and at which all Parish groups are encouraged to inform the Parish of the activities during the year. 
The Parish Council elections are held in alternate years.You are invited and encouraged to discuss any Parish issues, suggestions, ideas or questions you may have with any of your representatives on the PPC.  In order to facilitate this, the members of the Parish Pastoral council wear badges to identify themselves when attending Mass or Parish functions.
